Illegal gold mining operation busted in southern Kazakhstan, 13 arrested

ASTANA. Aug 7 (Interfax-Kazakhstan) – The Financial Monitoring Agency has broken up a criminal group engaged in illegal precious metal mining in the Shieli district of Kyzylorda region in southern Kazakhstan, the agency said in a statement Friday.
